McDonald Finding Form

James McDonald, a National Cricketer, has been working hard in the Javelin event, which he held the ISSA champs record up to 2013. His effort in training is evident in his performances so far this season as he has been improving at practically every meet he has competed in.
His first competition was the Carifta trials in June where his best throw on the day was 50.57m. He went on to competing at a number of meets where he continually improved. His last competition was at the UWI Games track meet in May 2013 where he won with a throw of 57.97.
"My aim for this season is to get over 60 meters and make the Junior Pan-Am team" Mcdonald explained. He went further to say: "My long term goal is to qualify for the next olympics and get up to at least 65m in the next 18 months.
James McDonald, formerly of Jamaica College, is 6'7", 18 years old and a first year student at the University of the West Indies. His next competition is the National Junior trials in June.
